Computing and Network Services will install the campus firewall tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 23, at 10 a.m.
A firewall is a combination of network hardware and software that protects internal computers from outside intrusion. It will greatly increase and improve the security of the campus network by protecting it from outside intrusion, such as viruses, worms and other unauthorized users.
