New Downtime Planned:
SEVERAL SERVICES PLANNED FOR BRIEF INTERRUPTION BETWEEN 9 AND 10 A.M.
Between 9 and 10 a.m., Sunday, March 20, the following services will be briefly interrupted (less than five minutes) due to reboots for an upgrade:
– Department application services (Seagate Info, Crystal Enterprise, RMS)
– All Web services: inside.towson.edu, pages.towson.edu, tuweb.towson.edu, wwwnew.towson.edu
– Application database services on TUSQL-A
– H: and O: drives
– PDA connectivity to Exchange via Pylonium
– Payment transaction processing for online payments via PeopleSoft
– DHCP
– Printer queues
INSIDE, BLACKBOARD, PEOPLESOFT, COSC ORACLE DATABASE AND BIORESEARCH UNAVAILABLE 6 A.M.-NOON
Inside.towson.edu, Blackboard, PeopleSoft, the COSC Oracle Database and BioResearch will be unavailable 6 a.m.-noon, Sunday.
OTS will remove storage disks so that they can be eventually reassigned to another server.
