A PeopleSoft maintenance window is scheduled from approximately 5 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 30 to 3 a.m., Friday, Oct. 31. PeopleSoft and any application that relies on it will be unavailable during this time frame.
The maintenance is necessary to upgrade the Oracle database, which stores the entire PeopleSoft application, as well as the data on which PeopleSoft relies. Upgrading the database will ensure that PeopleSoft is up-to-date, improving stability, performance and security.
Most applications that require a TU login will be affected, including timesheets, Procurement Cards, class schedules, the TU catalog and telephone directory, forms repository and TowsonU online, so please make plans accordingly.
If you have any questions, please contact Craig Turkington, manager of database administration and security for CANS, at (410) 704-2015 or {cturkington@towson.edu}.
