On Friday, Jan. 5, the state released a security advisory, which affects multiple versions of Adobe Acrobat Reader. The recommendation is to upgrade Adobe Reader to version 8.0.0 as soon as possible. The Office of Technology Services will be pushing out Adobe Reader 8.0.0 to all campus computers beginning Thursday, Jan. 11 at 8 a.m. There is nothing you will need to do to get the update on your computer. The installation will be done in the background and should not interrupt your work. The next time you launch Adobe Reader, it should be the newer version (8.0.0).
