The Office of Technology Services is aware of incoming e-mails claiming to be from Chase Bank Inc. asking faculty and staff members to provide sensitive personal information in order to reactivate their account.
If you receive this e-mail, delete it immediately! The attempted e-mail scam is using a process called ?phishing,? in which a sender impersonates a legitimate source to obtain information such as credit card or social security numbers.
