During the 2014 Midterm Elections, approximately 80% of TU students did not vote.
TU Votes is an effort to streamline, support, and amplify the voter engagement programs at Towson University. We want to make it as simple as possible for our students, faculty, and staff to be registered and informed.
TU Votes emerged as a core element of the voter engagement action plan submitted on behalf of Office of Civic Engagement & Social Responsibility, as part of our designations within both the All IN Campus Democracy Challenge and the Voter Friendly Campus program. This is a clear call to action that Towson University is a community that votes.
