Finding technology and support at TU: 10 things you need to know

The Office of Technology Services (OTS) welcomes you to the fall semester! Be sure to save these 10 technology-related links for future reference:

  1. Student Computing Services (SCS) provides technology resources and support. SCS includes Service Desks, Computer Labs, ResNet support, Multimedia support, equipment loans and Studios. Get laptop troubleshooting help for software-related issues or general support by calling 410-704-5151, or visit one of the walk-up locations.
  2. Technology questions or issues? Submit a service request online through TechHelp.
  3. TU Blackboard support is now on campus. Visit www.towson.edu/blackboard for options.
  4. Get free group or customized technology training on services like Blackboard, WordPress, OneDrive through OTS Training.
  5. Get more links and information on technology support, services and resources on the OTS webpage.
  6. TechOverture provides a list of technology resources for students. Get information on using NetIDs, accessing email, registration and records, logging into courses in Blackboard, storing files, accessing Wi-Fi, using OneCard and more technology topics important to student life at TU.
  7. Be in the know. Get the latest updates about technology outages and service interruptions through OTS Alerts or follow us on twitter @OTSAlerts.
  8. Access many campus applications & network files from anywhere using the Virtual Workspace at vw.towson.edu.
  9. Forward all suspicious emails to the Office of Information Security at phishing@towson.edu.
