Need help?
- The OTS Faculty/Staff Help Center is the primary point of contact for computing questions and technology resolution. Get support by calling 410-704-5151. If your students need technology support direct them to Student Computing Services (SCS).
- Report an issue or get support for Classroom Technology (CCLT) by calling x4-TECH, (410-704-8324), or look for the CCLT chat icon on an instructor computer and chat live with OTS.
- Technology questions or issues? Submit a service request online through TechHelp.
- TU Blackboard support is now on campus. Visit www.towson.edu/blackboard for options.
- Get free group or customized technology training on services like Blackboard, WordPress, OneDrive through OTS Training.
Technology Resources
- OTS Faculty Orientation provides a quick list of guides and OTS services. Originally designed for new faculty, this reference list is also helpful for returning faculty and staff. Resources include: quick information on working in Blackboard, WebEx and Panopto, using SCS studios, accessing technology self-help documents, registering for training workshops, securing hardware and software, getting tech support and more.
- OTS Technology Orientation is a basic overview of technologies that everyone employed at TU should know about, including NetIDs, using TechHelp, connecting and collaborating remotely, and how to protect the campus by practicing safe computing.
- Be in the know. Get the latest updates about technology outages and service interruptions through OTS Alerts or follow us on twitter @OTSAlerts.
- Forward all suspicious emails to the Office of Information Security at phishing@towson.edu.
- Search for available software at Towson for reduced pricing or free at http://www.towson.edu/software.
- Need a computer or laptop but don’t have the budget to purchase new? Make a request with EduCycle at http://www.towson.edu/EduCycle.
