Geo-Aesthetics Conference: Narratives From the World of the Sensible
Friday, March 16 – 9:00am to 6:00pm in the College of Liberal Arts, room 4310
Saturday, March 17 – 9:00am to 6:00pm in the Center for the Arts, room 2032
Whether we are or not aware, we all owe our being and existence to the world of the sensible. It is where we encounter others and where others encounter us. The encounter is of the sensible by the sensible. The reciprocity of the encounters takes place in the sensible in being human. These encounters extend to nature. This extension does not take us away from what we are, for nature is itself sensible. The sensible is our common dwelling. This interdisciplinary conference seeks the companionship of those who are interested in deepening, broadening, and in sharing their sensorial experiences.
