Are you having difficulty finding a job/internship that matches your major and interests? The Career Center offers students Job Search Strategies and Internship Appointments designed to promote effective search strategies!
The counselor/advisor will go over key components to a successful job/internship search and assist you in developing a strategy to cover all areas of the job search process; they will share specific tools, tips, and resources to help you complete the next steps in your search.
For each appointment, here are some general reminders:
- Appointments are approximately 30 minutes long
- Bring a printed copy of your resume and/or cover letter (our Resource Library is available for you to print for free)
- Come prepared to discuss your interests and goals for the future
- Be ready to talk about your various experiences and achievements, and how they may relate to your job/internship
