AA&CC Discover & Dine: The Poet’s Brush & Galaxy Asian Cuisine

Join TU’s Asian Arts & Culture Center and Chinese art and humanities specialist, Connie Rosemont, for a tour of the exhibition, The Poet’s Brush: Chinese Ink Paintings by Lo Ch’ing, at UMBC’s Center for Art Design and Visual Culture (CADVC), and resume the conversation over a Chinese meal at Galaxy Asian Cuisine. Lo’s landscapes include familiar forms of the genre, such as mountains, clouds and rivers, as well as an array of modern symbols like airplanes and skyscrapers. Rosemont explains how Lo integrates themes of modern living into traditional ink painting.
