Parking & Transportation Services would like to notify the campus community of important modifications that will be implemented Thursday April 27 through Saturday April 29 to accommodate Tigerfest.
Thursday, April 27, 2017 The following parking and transportation restrictions will be enforced:
- Lot 26 next to Glen Towers and the ground level of the Glen Garage will be closed starting at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 27. All vehicles must be removed from these areas by 5 p.m. Remaining vehicles will be cited and towed at the owner’s expense. These areas will reopen Saturday, April 29 at 8 a.m.
- Lot 26 permits will be valid in the Commuter areas of the Glen Garage. Lot 26 permit holders must move their vehicles back to Lot 26 no later than Monday, May 1 at 6 a.m.
Saturday, April 29, 2017 The following parking and transportation restrictions will be in place:
- Towson Center Lot 20, which is located near the SECU Arena, will be closed all day on Saturday, April 29.
- Handicapped parking will be available in Lot 21.
- No off campus shuttle routes will run on Saturday.
- The Tiger-in-Town shuttle will continue to run on the regular schedule.
- Due to the increase in traffic and safety concerns in the Towson Center area, service to the Towson Center area for the Gold Route will be suspended from 5 p.m. through 11 p.m. on Saturday, April 29. However, Paratransit service will continue to be available to the Towson Center for authorized users between 6:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
- Please remember to board the off campus Tiger in Town Route shuttle, individuals must swipe their valid OneCard to board the bus.
