  • Brand mark standards exist to ensure that Towson University makes consistent visual impressions with every audience.
  • Consistency is important — What would you think if you came across the Starbucks logo, but it was blue? Or if you saw the Target logo, but it was square?
  • Improper brand mark use makes materials look sloppy and creates confusion.
