Parking Enforcement
Please be aware that regular semester parking enforcement will resume on Monday, August 15 at 6 a.m. As such, all vehicles parked on campus must be in the appropriate area based on the associated permit type.
–Current Fall 2015/Spring 2016 permits expire on August 31, 2016.
–New permits for the Fall 2016/Spring 2017 academic year will be valid effective August 15, 2016.
–Faculty/Staff will need to park in designated F/S parking spaces (signage with red border) for normal enforcement hours.
–Those with a “Commuter” permit may park in designated commuter spaces (signage with green border) on core campus or designated lots at the Towson Center and designated levels of the West Village garage where all permits are valid (signage with black border).
–Those with “Overflow” permits will be permitted to park in designated areas of the Towson Center lots and designated levels of the West Village garage, where “All permits are valid” (signage with black border).
–Those with “Resident” permits must park in designated resident spaces (signage with purple border) on campus. Freshman Resident students with less than 30 credits earned are not permitted to purchase any permit or have a car on campus unless a special exemption has been granted.
-Those who purchase weekly or monthly permits will only be permitted to park in the “Overflow” areas of the Towson Center, where all permits are valid (signage with black border).
As a reminder, a valid TU permit is required to park on campus Monday – Thursday 6 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Friday 6 a.m. – 3 p.m. Posted signs take priority over printed information or information on the website.
