In celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act: The Road to Freedom Bus

The ADA Legacy Bus Tour is an exhibit that has traveled thousands of miles across the U.S. to raise awareness and build excitement for the 25th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act in 2015. Celebrate this landmark civil rights legislation with us on Monday, October 12th, 9-4pm, at the Enrollment Services Building!

Come experience:

  • a four-panel display on the history of self-advocacy, courtesy of the Museum of disABILITY History;
  • displays on The ADA Legacy Project and its effort to preserve of disability history; celebrate disability history milestones; and educate future generations of disability advocates; including a photo exhibit by prize winning photographer Tom Olin;
  • the ADA quilt – add your signature to thousands of others who have participated in the Tour;
  • displays on the history of the Road to Freedom Tour;
  • and giveaways!
