Request for Proposals: Where is the City Headed and Who Gets to Say?
Amanda Burnham will discuss her winter 2015 exhibition “RFP”, a sprawling, interactive drawing installation at EMP Collective in downtown Baltimore. Inspired by the physical infrastructure and energy of Baltimore, past and present, “RFP” actively invited visitors to contribute to the work by considering such questions as: “What makes an ideal city?” and “What should the future hold for Baltimore?” Burnham will also discuss her spring 2015 residency at the Embassy of Foreign Artists in Geneva, Switzerland.

The Power of Music Therapy: 4K Documentary Production
Dave Reiss will screen and discuss his latest film, Restorative Rhythms: The Power of Music Therapy. This documentary film profiles Music Therapist Seth Laucks as he develops a music therapy program in an inner city nursing and rehabilitation center. The film’s two major goals were to promote and educate institutions about the benefits of incorporating music therapy into their programming and to explore the aesthetics and technical aspects of 4K media production and post-production workflow.
