From Town Hall to Twitter: Jewish-Muslim Relations in the Age of Social Media

The Center for Student Diversity invites you to attend “From Town Hall to Twitter: Jewish-Muslim Relations in the Age of Social Media” on Wednesday, April 29, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., University Union, Loch Raven Room.

In a world of 24 hour news and viral videos, it’s easy to get swept up in sensational coverage. In this round-table discussion, our guest speakers will help us break down stereotypes and misconceptions, providing varying perspectives to contextualize misinformation and images in today’s social media.

Space is limited, RSVP here: http://goo.gl/forms/GxCoJaehTz. Dinner will be provided.

Co-sponsored by the Baltimore Jewish Council and Towson University’s Hillel, International Student Association (ISA), International Student and Scholar Office (ISSO), Jews and Muslims (JAM), Middle Eastern Student Association (MESA) and Muslim Students Association (MSA).
