The Office of Information Security (OIS) invites the Towson University community to take part in Data Privacy Day 2015, today, January 28. This international event is focused on “Respecting Privacy, Safeguarding Data and Enabling Trust” and kicks off Data Privacy Month (January 28 to February 28). While privacy is a year-round priority at Towson University, this month highlights the efforts to inform the TU community about data privacy. Here are some ways to join the Data Privacy Month effort:

- Spread the word using #dataprivacy, #DPD15 and #DPM15.
- Visit OIS’ Data Privacy Web page at towson.edu/dataprivacy for tips on how to keep your data safe.
