Access TU’s Clery Report

In accordance with TU guidelines and federal law, all current and prospective students and employees are entitled access to Towson University’s Annual Security and Fire Safety Report, also known as the Clery Report. The document is available by clicking here.

The Clery Report contains statistics about crimes which occurred over the past three years on-campus, in off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by the university, or on public property adjacent to campus. It also contains statistics on fires that occurred in on-campus student housing facilities during calendar years 2010, 2011 and 2012, as well as policies and practices pertaining to campus security, emergency response, crime reporting, alcohol and drugs, victims’ assistance programs, student discipline, crime prevention, campus safety and on-campus residential students who become missing for more than 24 hours. The 2013 statistics will be published in October and will be reflected in the next quarterly report.

Hard copies of the report can be viewed or obtained by calling 410-704-2505 or 410-704-5766, or by going to the Towson University Police Department.

Also, the TUPD’s crime trends are available–see why the department has won the Governor’s Crime Prevention Award for 28 consecutive years!
