As part of efforts to remove invasive plants from the Glen a herd of goats will be on campus Sunday, November 23rd through Wednesday November 26th. They will be grazing in the Glen between Smith Hall and the Glen Residence Hall (Tower D) between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm each day.
While on campus the goats will be in a fenced-off area, but the campus community is welcome to view them and talk with the goat herders. Removing invasive plants this way is an environmentally friendly and economical alternative to chemical or mechanical removal methods.
