In honor of Veterans Day and America Recycles Day this week, you’ll receive double rewards points and a coupon for Pepsi products when you recycle your plastic bottles and aluminum cans in our campus Dream Machine located on the second floor of the University Union.
Every time you recycle, you are helping PepsiCo support the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans with Disabilities (EBV) program, which provides training in entrepreneurship and small business management to help our war heroes around the nation.
Through its recycling programs, such as the Dream Machine right here on our campus, PepsiCo aims to increase the U.S. beverage container recycling rate to 50 percent by 2018. Since PepsiCo issued its goal in 2010, recycling rates have already increased by 7 percent (from 34 percent to 42 percent today). Towson University is proud to be one of the colleges and universities offering this rewarding recycling program to students, faculty and staff. We can’t succeed without your help—all you have to do is recycle!
