The Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies and the Department of Biological Sciences invite you to the Dr. Wing-Chun Wong Memorial Lecture, held annually as a tribute to Dr. Wong, who was a member of the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies from 1993 to 2001. Dr. Peter Godfrey-Smith will present the lecture on “Recurrence, Reproduction, Evolution.” He is the Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at the Graduate Center, City University of New York. His main research interests are in the philosophy of biology and the philosophy of mind. Dr. Smith’s most recent book, Philosophy of Biology, was released earlier this year by Princeton University Press.
