The 8th annual Disability Awareness Workshop will be held on Wednesday, October 15, from 3:30pm to 6:00pm in the University Union Chesapeake Rooms. This year’s theme is The Diversity of Disability: Raising Awareness. Andrew Solomon, award-winning author of Far From the Tree: Parents, Children and the Search for Identity and The Noonday Demon: An Atlas of Depression, is the keynote speaker. The workshop is free and open to students, faculty and staff. Pre-registration is required.
