The Departments of English and History and the Interdisciplinary Studies program in the College of Liberal Arts invite you to hear TU alumna, Heather Rounds, discuss her first novel, There (2013), written during her time in Iraqi Kurdistan where she worked as a journalist for a small Kurdish newspaper. Having graduated with a B.A. in English from Towson University, Ms. Rounds went on to earn on M.F.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Baltimore. Her poetry and short works of fiction have appeared in such places as PANK, The Baltimore Review, and Big Lucks. She is a co-founder of the roaming curatorial collective, “The Rotating History Project.”
