Parking & Transportation would like to provide the campus community with the following information for the Homecoming Football game against Elon on November 1.
Parking
- The majority of the parking areas surrounding Johnny Unitas Stadium are reserved for individuals with a pre-issued game day parking permit. There will be limited general parking available in the surrounding stadium lots. Please pay attention to parking attendants and electronic signs posted on Osler Drive to direct you to available parking.
- Towson University permits will not be valid for game day parking in reserved lots around the stadium.
- Once the limited general parking is full near the stadium, FREE general parking will be available in the Union & Glen garages and all nonresident core campus lots.
- Once general parking near the stadium is full, only vehicles that have the proper game day parking permit will be allowed access to the stadium lots.
- Vehicles with a valid game day parking permit will be allowed into the Towson Center lots 4 hours prior to game time. General parking areas will be open 3 hours prior to game time.
- Pedestrians will be allowed into the Towson Center lots 3 hours prior to game time.
- Tailgating in stadium lots will be allowed 4 hours prior to game time for those with game day parking passes and 3 hours prior to game time for those using general parking areas.
- Tailgating will end at game time.
Transportation
- Additional shuttles will operate on the Gold Route 3 hours prior to game time until 1 1/2 hours after the game has concluded.
- A TU ID is not required to ride on the Gold Route shuttles.
- Staff shuttles from the Union Garage directly to the Towson Center Lot 21 will begin operating 5 hours before game time until 3 hours prior to game time. Staff who need to get to the stadium area after this time can ride the Gold Route shuttle from the Union/Cross Campus stop to the Stadium area.
