Underground Utility Work Begins August 11

Beginning August 11 and continuing to October 3, contractors will be performing underground utility work between the Power Plant (CUPA) and Linthicum Hall and extending north up to University Avenue at the Health and Counseling Center. Portions of this area will be closed intermittently to pedestrian and vehicular traffic with detours. The closures and detours are necessary to allow personnel and equipment access to install a fiber network ductbank in this part of campus.

Pedestrians are asked to use caution and follow the posted signs and barricades directing pedestrians around the construction site. University Avenue will be restricted to one lane between August 11 and August 25. Please follow the direction of signs and flaggers during this time.

If you have any questions or concerns about the project, please contact Rance Burger at 410-704-5032 or rburger@towson.edu.

Thank you for your patience… a new and greater Towson is coming your way.
