TU achieved a 27.85 percent recycling rate for 2013—the best overall rate in the past six years. A large part of the increase is thanks to YOU – the campus community – for recycling, so keep up the good work! Facilities improvements, like adding new recycling bins to each residence hall room and classroom, also contributed to the increase.
TU also moved up more than 100 spots in 2014 RecycleMania, with a recycling rate of 33.8 percent during the spring competition.
