New AVP for Facilities Management

Kevin Petersen is Towson University’s new associate vice president (AVP) for Facilities Management. He was selected for the position following an open search conducted by a committee of more than a dozen faculty and staff.

During the past six months, Kevin served in the AVP role in an interim capacity, proving himself a thoughtful and effective administrator. He previously worked as director of Operations & Maintenance at Towson University and spent 13 years as director of Facilities at Catholic University. Kevin has also served in Facilities Management positions at American University and George Washington University. He holds a bachelor’s degree in three-dimensional design from Capital University and a master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Catholic University.
