Dr. Thomas Krause, Department of Physics, Astronomy and Geosciences, will present a planetarium show titled, “Venus: the bright planet in the eastern sky” in the Watson-King Planetarium, Smith 521. We’ll do a bit of mythology, some history of observations of Venus and some current astronomy of our sister planet.
Plan to come and enjoy the show on Friday, February 21, 2014 at 8 p.m. There will be a telescope viewing afterwards, weather permitting.
