Does your phone or tablet need to be charged? If so, head over to the University Union patio (outside Potomac Lounge) and plug your device in to the new solar charging table. The café style table (shown below) has a solar panel umbrella, four USB ports and two A/C outlets to charge your cell phone, tablet or computer. Batteries located under the seat store the extra power generated, so you can even charge on cloudy days. This demonstration table, called a ConnecTable, is only on campus for a short time, so stop by soon to check out solar in action!
