Our Life’s Challenge:  Survive in this Neurotypical Jungle

Wolf F. Dunaway

Topic: The Autistic Werewolf knows that many autistic children and adults are disadvantaged when interacting with neurotypically biased public safety officials and legal systems. Grand concepts like a trial by a jury of our peers lose meaning since few potential jurors understand the challenges of life with autism. The legal system assumes we share reasonable man (person) common sense systems of self-governance. Autism means we were born onto a spectrum that exists outside of societies neurotypical common sense network.

Bio: Wolf Dunaway is an adult on the spectrum fresh from a speaking engagement in Arizona. He is an autism advocate and soon to be published author. Wolf Dunaway’s insights motivate and enlighten people on the spectrum, their caregivers, professionals and others. Wolf’s messages of hope are born of his 54 years of personal autism experience. Mr. Dunaway holds a great job and lives on his own.
