Nearly 100 employers will be on campus tomorrow to recruit Towson University students for full-time, part-time and internship positions. Follow these three steps to make sure you’re prepared:
1. LOOK THE PART. Bring lots of copies of your (flawless) resume and suit up like a pro.
2. KNOW YOUR AUDIENCE. View the list of employers in advance and think of a few questions to ask the ones that interest you. Don’t be the person who asks, “So, what do you do?”
3. PRACTICE INTRODUCING YOURSELF. Capture recruiters’ attention with a great 30-second commercial that highlights your top qualifications (skills, internships, volunteering, campus leadership, personal qualities, etc.).
