The Department of Health Science in the College of Health Professions will host a screening of The Weight of the Nation, Children in Crisis. This film explores the real risks children face from carrying too much weight and discusses the tools parents need to help their kids lead healthier lives. The film presents risk factors, environmental factors, and health consequences of childhood obesity. Following the film screening will be a panel discussion to explore issues presented in the film.
