The next Mathematics Colloquium will take place on Thursday, November 7, at 4 p.m. in YR 320, with refreshments served before the talk at 3:30 p.m. The speaker will be Dr. Karen Ross of the Maryland State Department of Education. Her talk is entitled “The Maryland Common Core State Curriculum (CCSC) in Mathematics and the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC): What We Know Now.”
