The final two days of the About Faces Fundraiser, put on by the Veterans Group at Towson University, will be Tuesday October 15th and Wednesday October 16th. These two days mark the end of the fundraiser which is aimed at collecting donations to benefit the American Cancer Society.
The event will be held in the University Union on the second floor and will take place from 11:30-1:30 and 4:30-6:30 each day.
At the table, visitors will have the opportunity to purchase either pink hair extensions for $10 or pink wristbands for $5. All of the proceeds from sales will benefit the American Cancer Society.
The About Faces Fundraiser is being sponsored by About Faces Day Spa & Salon owned by the Brennan family. For every hair extension and wristband purchased on campus, the Brennans will personally match each donation up to a total of $10,000, which will go towards the Nick Zolikowski Scholarship.
The Nick Zoilkowski Scholarship was established in 2005. It was created in memory of Corporal Nick Zoilkowski who was killed in action in Fallujah, Iraq on November 14, 2004.
Come on over to University Union on October 15th and 16th and support the About Faces Fundraiser, and sport your pink to support Breast Cancer Awareness and the American Cancer Society.
