The Provost’s Office, Office of Academic Innovation, and the January Conference Committee are excited to announce the Call for Proposals for the upcoming annual January Conference, “University of One: Transforming Traditions to Reach Every Student.”
The Provost’s January 2014 conference honors the traditional instructional practices that helped establish the legacy of Towson University as the premier teaching institution in Maryland and promotes innovative teaching practices that result in student academic success. Faculty, students, and guest presenters will share experiences and best practices for implementing teaching excellence that include time-tested and emerging techniques.
All full-time faculty are invited to submit a proposal for the upcoming conference by October 3, 2013. Notification of proposal decisions will be forwarded by November 11, 2013. The official conference registration form will open for all on November 15, 2013.
