Dr. Bill Sadera, College of Education, and Dr. Kathy Gould, College of Health Professions, authored a chapter on pedagogy in online learning as part of the recently released text, Developing Online Learning Environments in Nursing Education (3rd ed.). This is the third edition of the best-selling nurse educator’s handbook on using online teaching tools and assessing instructional results to keep pace with the rapid-fire progression in digital learning across education. Dr. Sadera also co-authored a second chapter featured in this text on professional education.

Heather L. Scheuerman, Sociology, Anthropology & Criminal Justice, recently had two articles accepted for publication. The first, “The Relationship between Injustice and Crime: A General Strain Theory Approach,” will appear in the next issue of the Journal of Criminal Justice. The second, “Clarifying Criminological and Social Psychological Theory: A Second Look at the Relationship between Injustice and General Strain Theory,” is forthcoming in the journal Sociology Compass.
