The Syrian government, led by President Bashar al-Assad, has responded with violence and the United States and others are now arguing that there is strong evidence that the Syrian regime has used chemical weapons to attack civilians. Librarians Joyce Garczynski and Sara Nixon created a new resource guide about Syria that provides background information on the country, the latest news, the history of chemical weapons, as well as researched perspectives on the conflict.
