Parking & Traffic flow
- Aug. 24 and 25
-Cross Campus Dr. will be converted to one way west bound traffic from the Glen garage to Osler Drive. No traffic will be able to go from Osler to York Road during the restricted times.
– The Union garage faculty/staff area and Lot 6 next to Ward/West will be closed to regular parking. These areas will be used for staging vehicles that are waiting to unload. Additional parking is available in the commuter areas of the Union Garage, the Towsontown Garage and the Glen Garage.
– Emerson Drive will be one way from Towsontown Boulevard to Osler Drive. Incoming residents will be staged in the left lane while through traffic and those moving into Millennium Hall will use the right lane.
-Access to the West Village garage will be limited to the Towsontown Blvd entrance.
Residents moving in should follow the direction of TU Police and Parking Services staff regarding where they may park their vehicles while unloading. If an area is not being controlled by Police, residents must be parked in a legal, non-reserved space. Free 20-minute loading/unloading meters and designated “Move-In” spaces are also located near many residence halls.
At no time may any vehicle be left unattended in a roadway, fire lane, or be parked in a handicapped or otherwise reserved space without the appropriate permits. For the safety of our campus, illegally parked vehicles may be cited and towed at the owner’s expense.
