Ms. Ima Dead-Body has been murdered in the library lobby and we need your help to find her killer!
Participating in the Library’s Mobile Murder Mystery is simple!
All you need to solve the murder are super-sleuth skills and a camera phone with a QR code reader. The first clue in this murder mystery scavenger hunt can be found on a poster in the Cook Library lobby. Snap a picture of the QR code on the poster to read the clue and get started. The case closes October 1. Messaging and data rates may apply.
Of course there are rewards for being a good detective. Each person who completes the scavenger hunt will win a prize and be entered into a drawing for a fantastic Towson gift pack.
How do I get a QR code reader? You will need to download a QR code reader to your phone. On your phone, simply go to http://www.mobile-barcodes.com/qr-code-software/ in order to participate in the murder mystery. Most QR code readers are free.
What’s a QR code?
QR codes are similar to barcodes and are starting to show up around the world on advertisements and packaging. If you have a camera phone with a QR code reader, you can scan the code and the information embedded in the code will be loaded onto your phone.
