Microsoft Project 2010 Now Available

Microsoft Project is a project management software program which is designed to assist a project manager in developing a plan, assigning resources to tasks, tracking progress, managing the budget, and analyzing workloads. This software package is now available to Faculty and staff for use on their Towson University owned PC. If you are interested in using Project 2010, you can install it at your own convenience by clicking this link.  The program name will be Microsoft Project 2010.

If you do not see any applications listed in Run Advertised Programs, you will want to put in a service request with the OTS Help Center so your system can be checked out.

If you would like training on this software package, Lynda.com is available to you. Lynda.com is an online subscription library that teaches the latest software tools and skills through high-quality instructional videos taught by recognized industry experts.

To request a week long license to Lynda.com, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit techhelp.towson.edu from any browser
  2. Login with your NetID and Password
  3. Select Employee Role from the drop down list
  4. A secondary field will appear. Select Training and Documentation.
  5. A third field will appear. Select Lynda.com
  6. Provide your email address and any other information you desire (preferred dates you wish to have access to the training videos etc.)
  7. Click OK.
