Summer Parking Enforcement & Transportation Information

Modified Parking Enforcement Modified enforcement will go into effect Wednesday, May 15.  During modified enforcement periods, all current Towson University permits, including Towson Center and Millennium Hall permits will be valid in all commuter and resident lots.  All other policies are in place as stated in the regulations and/or on posted signs.  Restrictions will continue to be in place for all faculty/staff lots and reserved spaces.

The last day of modified parking enforcement will be Friday, August 16. Regular enforcement of parking regulations will resume Monday, August 19at 6 a.m.

As a reminder, a valid TU permit is required year-round to park on campus from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday.

Shuttle Service – All Routes During the summer, the Para-transit shuttle will operate on call Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Any person with mobility impairment can request the service by calling 410-704-RIDE.

All on- and off-campus shuttles, including Safe Ride, will not operate during the summer break. Service for both on- and off-campus routes and Safe Ride will end Tuesday, May 21 at 10 p.m.; there will be no Safe Ride after this time.  Shuttle service and Safe Ride will resume operations at 4 p.m. Saturday, August 24.

The Towson University Police Department will continue to offer campus escort programs from dusk to dawn. To request an escort, call 410-704-SAFE (7233).
