Governor Martin O’Malley has ordered that the United States flag and the Maryland State flag be flown at half staff from sunrise to sunset on Monday, April 15, 2013 in honor of Captain Sara M. Knutson, who died on March 11, 2013. Knutson was from Eldersburg, Maryland and died in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
