Eight College of Education Faculty and Students Presented at the Society for Information Technology and Teacher Education International Conference in New Orleans

During the week of March 25-30, several College of Education faculty and students presented their research at  the Society for Information Technology and Teacher Education (SITE) International Conference in New Orleans, Louisiana. In all, six presentations were conducted, below is a list of the authors and presentations:

  • Doctoral student, Simarjeet Sandhu, and professors, Dr. Sarah Lohnes-Watulak and Dr. Gilda Martinez, presentation entitled: “Exploring the Impact of the TAG Interactive Reader on the Motivation to Read and Reading Outcomes of English Language Learners.”
  • Dr. Bill Sadera presented “Exploring the Impact of the TAG Interactive Reader on the Motivation to Read and Reading Outcomes of English Language Learners.”
  • Dr. Jeff Kenton shared his presentation “The Public Side of the Unit Assessment System: YASU & DAR.”
  • Doctoral student, Liz Berquist, and faculty member, Dr. Bill Sadera, presented “Conceptions about Universal Design for Learning and Technology: A Phenomenological Study of School Leaders.”
  • Dr. David Wizer presented the paper “Beliefs of district administrators regarding student technology use.”
  • Dr. Mubina Kirmani shared the presentation, “Dual-Window Video Technology Reflection (VTR) Tool to Promote Reflective Practice and Accountability in Teacher Training.”
