Autism & Neurodiversity
Wednesday April 3, 2013
6:30 – 8 p.m., rm 203
Institute for Well-Being
Autism is a spectrum of differences. What shape do those differences take? What are the brain structure components that are involved in autism? What is meant by the term, “Neurodiversity?” All these questions will be discussed in a multimedia, interactive forum with Rhonda J. Greenhaw, MA, BCBA, Director of the Hussman Center for Adults with Autism at Towson University. Discussions celebrating brain differences and how parents and the community can facilitate involvement of adults on the spectrum will be reviewed.
