SOFTWARE TIP OF THE WEEK

VoIP Phones        Sending a Message Over the Telephone    

  1. Press the “messages” soft key to access your own mailbox (as if you were going to retrieve messages).
  2. Enter your pin, followed by the # key.
  3. Select option 2—Send a Message.
  4. Follow the prompts given to record your message—press the # key when you are finished speaking.
  5. The system will ask you to enter a name or distribution list. Press the # key twice to enter the extension of the person you would like to send the message to.
  6. Enter the first extension followed by the # key.
  7. The system will play the name of the person whose extension you entered.
  8. Press the # key to accept the extension.
  9. Press 9-1 to add another extension.

10. Repeat steps 6 – 9.

11. Press the # key to send the message.
