The Office of Technology Services (OTS) is pleased to announce the update of the Blackboard system to Service Pack (SP) 11. This update will not remove existing features, but will include many new features. In addition, the update will utilize a new and more robust hardware environment to handle the ever increasing demand for tool sets used in teaching online.
Throughout this process, OTS will inform the Blackboard users of the updates and their timeframes through T3 postings. These include planned system downtime for the existing Blackboard server, as well as recommendations for preparing the summer semester using the new system.
