Twentieth Century-Fox: The Zanuck-Skouras Years 1935-1965

Peter Lev, EMF, is the author of Twentieth Century-Fox:  The Zanuck-Skouras Years 1935-1965, just published by University of Texas Press.  This book was supported by an Academy Scholars grant from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.  It discusses the history of Twentieth Century-Fox from the 1935 merger forming the company to the huge success of The Sound of Music.  An Epilog briefly updates the story to 2011.  For more information see the book’s web page http://www.utexas.edu/utpress/books/levtwe.html.
