Set for an interdisciplinary audience, the talks and following discussions aim to be learned but not arcane, brisk yet not rushed and clear without being overly simple. Their intention is that noble classical goal, to instruct and entertain.
Framed by Happy Hour in the University Club, Towson U Marriott, presentations begin on the following Fridays at 4 p.m.
March 15: Robyn Quick, Theatre. “The Dramaturgical Process and Global Understanding: Tales of an American Dramaturge in Moscow.”
April 5: Bethany Doane, Graduate Student, Humanities, “Posthumanism and the Other: An Evolution of Understanding.”
May 3: Florence Newman, English, Emerita, “St. Clare and the Eucharist in Medieval Tradition and Iconography.”
