Towson recycled 24,200 pounds or 23.7 percent of its waste the week of Feb 3 – 9. This put us in 136th place, behind UM-College Park, Frostburg State, and Harford Community College. Come on, Towson!
Among the Residence Halls, Newell Hall won the campus competition this week by recycling 1.67 pounds per student. Congratulations, Newell! To see results for all weeks and all residence halls, click here.
Our single-stream recycling system accepts all plastics, paper, cardboard, and aluminum. But it does not take trash! A recycling bin contaminated with trash will have the entire contents dumped as trash. Please help Towson recycle!
Results from all participating Maryland schools are as below.
